Budget Informational Meeting, Monday, March 1, 7pm, Chantilly

February 22: Supervisor Michael R. Frey and Fairfax County School Board Chairman Kathy L. Smith will hold an informational meeting on Monday, March 1, at 7 p.m. in the little theater at Rocky Run Middle School to discuss budget issues facing the county and the schools in FY 2011. Director of Fairfax County’s Department of Management and Budget Susan Datta and FCPS Director of Budget Services Kristen Michael will present highlights of the budget, outline the budget process and calendar, and discuss how individual schools might be affected. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to learn how citizens can impact the budget process. Rocky Run Middle School is located at 4400 Stringfellow Road in Chantilly.
